Overview

2025 Master PlanThe purpose of the Master Plan Steering Committee is to provide guidance in the development of the new comprehensive master plan.

What is a Master Plan?

Simply put, a Master Plan is the Town’s vision for the future. It captures data, trends, and community insights to shape long-term priorities for growth, conservation, and redevelopment. By charting a course for the future, a Master Plan can help a community better prepare for and respond to changes in a manner that aligns with local values. Londonderry’s last Master Plan was adopted in 2013. New Hampshire recommends revising a Master Plan every five to ten years, so it is due for an update.

For more information on the purpose of a Master Plan and what it required to be in it, please see New Hampshire RSA 674:2.
