Highway Division

The Highway Division is a highly skilled and knowledgeable group of dedicated individuals who work long hours during emergencies to ensure safe travel around the community.

This is done while providing a high level of municipal service in a courteous and cost-conscious manner. Some core responsibilities of this Division are as follows:

• Timely snow and ice removal for all Town roads.
• Maintain and repair town roads, catch basins, drainage pipes, and swales.
• Repair and replace all regulatory street signs.
• Clear brush along the Town’s right of way.
• Address community concerns as they pertain to the Town’s right of way.
• Provide support services to the Towns Drop-off Center.
• Assist with community celebrations (including Old Home Day, Memorial Day flags, and Christmas on the Common) to name a few.
