Strategic Plan

The Town of Londonderry Strategic Plan provides a clear framework for guiding Town priorities, investments, and decision-making over the next several years. Built from input from departments, boards, committees, and residents, the plan organizes shared goals into key functional areas including municipal operations, public engagement, growth and development, infrastructure, environmental stewardship, public safety, and community character. It is designed to help the Town align resources with community needs, improve coordination across departments, and measure progress through specific objectives and performance indicators. The plan creates a practical roadmap for maintaining high-quality services while planning responsibly for Londonderry's future.

What a Strategic Plan Is

A strategic plan is a short-term, action-oriented roadmap that helps an organization focus on its most important priorities and turn them into measurable work. For the Town of Londonderry, it is intended to guide what can realistically be accomplished in the upcoming fiscal year while keeping the next few years in view. Unlike the Master Plan, which is broader and longer term, the strategic plan is designed to connect goals, action items, and key performance indicators so departments, boards, committees, and the public can align around clear priorities and track progress in a practical way.

Draft Strategic Plan Documents

These documents are presented for review, discussion, and revision at the Town Council Strategic Plan workshops on Monday, April 13 and Wednesday April 22. After these two workshops, the Strategic Plan will be revised and a new draft will be published for review and public comment in advance of the public hearing at the Town Council meeting on Monday, May 18.
