Marriage Licenses
Marriage License Notice
If you are planning to get married in New Hampshire, you may apply for a Marriage License at any Town or City Clerk's Office. In the Town of Londonderry, we do these by appointment only. Please contact the Town Clerk's office at 603-432-100, ext. 199 for the Town Clerk.
Both parties must be 18 years of age or older. If either party is a New Hampshire resident and under 18, a waiver may be granted by the probate court in the county where you live. Both parties must provide a Driver's License.
If either party was married before, a certified copy of how the marriage ended is needed. These would include the following:
- Death Certificate
- Divorce Decree
- Annulment Certificate With a Raised Seal
The fee for obtaining a marriage license is $50.
After you are married, you may obtain a certified copy of your marriage certificate. The fee is $15 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy if you order them at the same time.
The process of obtaining a marriage license can take 30 to 45 minutes. Licenses will be valid for 90 days. All couples who are looking to get a license must make an appointment with our Town Clerk, Sherry Farrell, at 603-432-1100, ext. 199, or by email.
