Identity Theft Prevention & Awareness Class

Community Caregivers of Greater Derry invites local residents to attend a free educational session on identity theft prevention. As identity theft continues to rise nationwide, this class will provide practical tools and expert guidance to help individuals protect their personal and financial information.

Presenters from Santander Bank and the Londonderry Police Department will share real-world examples, prevention strategies, and steps to take if your identity is compromised.

Topics will include:

  • Common tactics used by identity thieves

  • How to recognize phishing attempts and online scams

  • Best practices for securing personal data

  • What to do if your identity is compromised

  • Community and financial resources available for assistance

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive take-home materials.
